Bean to Bar

CHocolate making 101

Location:   7515 Harwood Ave. Wauwatosa Village.

Time:   7-9pm  Please arrive 5 minutes early to get settled

Cost: $50

An introduction to chocolate lasting approximately two hours. We’ll taste and learn about the different types of chocolate, their ingredients, and single origin chocolate. Also covered is the processing that goes on before the cacao reaches Tabal and the bean to bar process. Finally we will go on a world tasting tour that explores the unique flavor profiles of single origin chocolate.

Space is limited to eleven guests so be sure to book your class soon. 
While the experience is geared toward adults, guests aged 12-15 are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

TRUFFLE MAKING

BRIZILIAN BRIGADEIRO

Brigadeiro is the most famous sweet in Brazil. It is a handmade bite sized treat, which is similar to a chocolate fudge truffle. Brigadeiro are hand dipped candies known for their intense chocolate flavor and creamy texture.
In this 2 hour long class you will learn about brigadiero ingredients, how to make brigadeiro, and receive a hands on experience making your own brigadeiro truffles. You will take home 6 truffles ($15 value) that you made.

TOURS

Tours are available by appointment only, as we are producing chocolate throughout the week. For student groups there is a $6 per person charge and for adults the charge is $10 per person. The tour lasts approximately 40 minutes and includes chocolate samples and a hands on experience.
