Tabal Chocolate Liquid Cacao, or as we call it "ChoLiq" is now available. ChoLiq is a water based liquid concentrate of 100% cacao that is made at Tabal Chocolate. This liquid is great for adding to your smoothie, to drink straight with or without sweetener, or mix into other beverages for a full cacao flavour.
ChoLiq is an excellent option for brewers to add to their brew for an amazing chocolate flavour note. This is an option alternative to flavouring with cacao nibs.
NOTE: THIS PRODUCT IS SHIPPED FROZEN to preserve freshness. If kept frozen the product is fresh for 8 months. Once thawed, keep refrigerated for 6-8 weeks.
When ready to use, thaw thoroughly in the refrigerator, shake very well...then shake again. Cacao naturally contains cocoa butter so a little warmth for the liquid will help dissolve any cocoa butter particles.

Do you make the chocolate by hand?
Yes. Once the beans arrive at Tabal Chocolates we sort, roast, crack and winnow, grid, conch or aerate, temper, pour into molds, then wrap each bar by hand.
Where do you get the cocoa beans?
We get the beans through our communities in the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Columbia, Nicaragua, and Peru.
